Everyone has a story: people they love, pets that are true companions, best friends. That story is who you are, what you love, what you are all about. My job is to make your story come to life in images.

Photography has always been a passion of mine, starting back in high school learning to take photos and develop them in a darkoom. Through college I became interested in the, then new, automatic cameras. I really got excited when the ever expanding opportunities of digital photography came onto the scene. As my love of photography grew, I knew I needed to make a carreer out of it. Thus was born Catchlight Photography.

I have had the opportunity to be mentored by award winning photographer William Enos of Emerald Light www.emeraldlight.com. I have also attended The Photography Workshops in Santa Fe New Mexico, a highly regarded photography school.

Showing relationships and translating that feeling into pictures is what it's all about for me. Working with people and animals is truly one of my favorite things.

It's not just about having some pictures taken. It's about having a wonderful time, having fun, and getting some great images.

Oregon's beautiful Willamette Valley offers many wonderful scenic backgrounds. I am based in Albany, however, my photo shoots are on location to accommodate your needs. I am happy to come to your home, or share some of my favorite spots for pictures. I enjoy working with individuals, families and all types of pets.
